Social Performance

We define social performance as the performance of business practices that enable the responsible provision of products and services that improve the economic situation and basic welfare of clients. We feel social performance is integral to the success of Grassroots Capital Management, our partners, and our target investees from financial, moral, and increasingly capital markets standpoints.

To continually improve our social performance and to provide evidence that our investees continue to target those clients to which they are best suited, we have been working to integrate social performance measurement into the investment process from the start.
